The Business of Being Family
Writer and Director Danita Jones places
the audience between a kitchen full of women,
a basement full of men, and
the hallway that connects the two.
This unique show, portraying the events
in real-time, tells the hilarious and
dramatic story of the Banks Family who
return to the matriarch and patriarch's
house to celebrate Thanksgiving.
This huge family includes a divorcee,
not so newlyweds, expectant parents,
and several outspoken grandchildren.
Through a series of random events,
the entire family is forced to
acknowledge some of their own issues,
witness how it affects the others, and
ultimately get to the root of their problems.
